Target has school supplies (the leftover ones from Back to School) for 75% off.  That includes backpacks, lunchboxes, glue, folder, book covers,  etc.  I also noticed that other sections of the store have 50-75% off.  Some shelves are only marked 30% off, but when you look at the price it’s 50%.  I noticed the 75% off as of Wed, Sept 18th.

On the back of the Viewpoint section of the Arizona Republic today is a $30 coupon for Safeway pharmacy when you bring in a new or transferred prescription. The $30 is a gift card you can use to buy your groceries! That is a great coupon to hang on to; you never know when you’ll be sick. Also, Albertson’s pharmacy will take competitor’s coupons like this one, and most will even add an extra $5 on to it! So that would be a $35 giftcard. Even if your prescription is $20, you get the full gift card amount.

I have a printable coupon for Swensen’s that I’m allowed to pass on…I work there part time. It’s for $1 off any sanwich (comes with a side), salad, or kid’s meals. Good deal too if you have a lot of kids….the kids meals are approx $4 depending on which one you choose and comes with a drink…coupon makes it even better!

Swensen’s is located off of 28th Drive & Peoria…right by Sizzler’s and the old Nevada Bob’s, which is called Van’s now I think. One other thing; if you have a birthday there, you get a free super sundae! Plus, if you have a bunch of kids, it’s fun for them to order the Earthquake (it is not the free sundae) which is $19.99 and it’s 8 scoops of ice cream with toppings and whip cream. The sheer size delights the children.

I’ve been to severeal CVS stores that have makeup on clearance.  It’s mixed in with their regular makeup but there are stickers on the products that say clearance.  Revlon, Maybelline, and a few others had 50% off stickers.  Combine with coupons for a good deal!  But the best deal I saw was on L’Oreal make-up.  There are several lip and eye and foundation products they have for 75% off.  There is also a coupon for $1 off!  I paid only .12 for eye shadows and about $1.18 for different lip glosses.  Especially great if you have teens…even save for stocking stuffers!
