This Weekends Shopping Plan

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

Since Fry’s is taking competitor’s cpns and redeeming all coupons for $1 (even a .10 cpn is $1 off), I decided to do a Shopping Plan for this weekend.  Here is what I’m doing….any Coupon Sensers log in to the site for the coupon numbers to make it easier for you.  I can’t post cpn numbers here, it’s copyrighted.  :)   (If you don’t know what I’m referring to, see this video)

**REMEMBER** with the Mega 10 event, you must buy in increments of 10.  You can mix and match though.  Like 5 gatorades and 5 Cheezits.  You can do 10, 20, 30, etc, there is no limit.  Since I get 4 newspapers each Sunday, I can buy in multiples and really stock up.

I will also use these coupons:

  • Albertson’s ad:  Spend $100, get a free Turkey!
  • Safeway’s ad:  Spend at least $50, get 4 free things (Free Raisin bread, bacon, orange juice, eggs)  They are Safeway brand, so you will get the Fry’s store brand.
  • Safeway’s Extra Ad (another flier):  5 lb potatoes  .68, IBC rootbeer 6 pks  $2 for $4,
  • Basha’s ad:   Brown Sugar 2lbs  .88  (you get Fry’s brand sugar)

My total might not reach $100 for the Turkey.  In fact, even though I’ll be buying 4 or more of the items at the top, it shouldn’t even be close to $100.  More like $50 for everything.  So, I’m going to take this opportunity to get some things like toilet paper (we have cpns!!), extra produce that is a good price, and Fry’s brand diapers because they are $6.49 per pack right now.  They also have clearance Halloween things I might glance at.  Another good filler item is the Gatorade that is .49 with the Mega 10 deal.
