I wrote an article you can find here about money saving websites and ideas when you have a new little one.  By necessity I’ve been a frugal mommy to my 4 kids and we still have nice things and tons of toys/clothes.  I don’t need a $700 stroller to be happy (and yes, they exist!).

You MUST take advantage of this, even if you just donate the fruit snacks to your child’s school or something!  The way I see it, even if each of my children eat one pack of fruit snacks a day, I would need 15 boxes per month  (don’t worry, they only eat about one every two or three days in reality). 

The breakdown:  Safeway has a Mix and Match, buy 4, get an instant $4 off deal going on.  Betty Crocker fruit snacks, fruit rollups, and Gushers are part of it. 

• BEST deal for this: Buy 8 boxes of Betty Crocker fruit snacks and /or fruit rollups.  (use 4 coupons from the newspaper if you have them–came out about 3 weeks ago)  You will pay $8 if you don’t have any coupons or $4 if you do.  THEN, at checkout a $3.50 coupon off your next order will print out.  You can turn around and use it on more fruit snacks and generate another $3.50 if you want  (cycle through them) but that is a LOT of fruit snacks!  J 

There are a lot of “dollar” stores out there, so for this deal make sure you go to www.familydollar.com and find a location near you.  I was in a couple today and noticed that the Tide Stain Release (something you add to your loads to get stains out; you use it along with your regular detergent) is only $4.  Well, there have been a couple coupons recently published for $3 off.  One published in the Dec 26th Proctor & Gamble insert, and another on Jan 9th in the Red Plum insert.  So I went back with my coupons and got them for $1!

This Sunday’s Walgreens Ad (for 1/24) will have a great deal on Huggies. Here’s how it breaks down:

So, buy 3 Jumbo pack of Huggies

You Pay $20.97 and get a $5 Register Reward back (coupon for $5 off your next purchase at Walgreens)

I noticed on the front of the Sprouts ad it says that you can buy a $100 gift card to Sprouts for only $89.99  This is a great deal if you already shop at Sprouts regularly and know you’d use the card.  Then it’s like saving 10% extra on everything!  If you shop there a LOT, I’d buy 2 or 3!

I’ve been flying Delta a lot lately, and have racked up some frequent flier miles (yeah!)

My mom has some extra miles from a flight and she knows she will never fly enough to get a free flight. SO, she can transfer me her miles to add to my stash, and right now Delta has a deal where they add 50% to the total miles. So, if my mom gives me 1000 miles, I will actually get 1500. Pretty sweet.
